Zinasu secretary-general Makomborero Haruzivishe told NewZimbabwe.com in Harare on Tuesday that the UZ administration summoned Dombo and company for a disciplinary hearing at the University campus on Wednesday,
On Wednesday the 19th of October our fellow comrades, Tonderai Dombo, Alexander Mukamba and Thembinkosi Rushwaya will be undergoing a hearing concerning their brave actions on this year’s Graduation Day. In addition to these injustices two other Cdes Tinotenda Mhungu and Cde Khosa were also summoned to these hearings.
He also said they were going to force the closure of the UZ if his colleagues got expelled.
These hearings are all based on an unjust law; therefore, it will be great if we all come to the students’ affairs building (Next to CBZ) and stand in solidarity with our fellow students. If the University takes any drastic action in their decisions either by suspending or expelling them (former 3 being Post Grad Students and the latter 2 still Undergrads) surely we will demonstrate against the Administration.
