Breaking: Zimbabwe to play Algeria in Group B at AFCON 2017
Zimbabwe has been drawn in Group B and will face Algeria at the 2017 edition of the Total Africa Cup of Nations. The warriors will also play against Senegal and Tunisia.
The tournament was scheduled to be hosted by Libya, until CAF rescinded its hosting rights in August 2014 due to ongoing war in the country. The tournament will instead be hosted by Gabon. The 2017 African champion will qualify for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia. This event is also part of the Africa Cup of Nations 60th Anniversary.
