Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Godfrey Gandawa who is also facing charges of corruption has been arrested and will appear in court tomorrow.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission alleges that Gandawa’s company Fuzzy Technologies was awarded tenders unprocedurally by Ministry of Higher Education. In one instance the company was contracted by Ministry of Higher & Tertiary Education to supply computer equipment without going to tender. The case is therefore of conflict of interest as it is owned by the deputy Minister.
