Scout fields daily for pests, Joseph Made tells farmers

Joseph Made, has urged farmers to scout their fields daily in order to avoid pest outbreak. He urged the farmers to  report the outbreaks to their nearest Agritex offices for advice. Made is the Minister of Agriculture Mechanisation and Irrigation Development.

Agricultural experts with are failling to agree on a new worm which is destroying maize.Some are calling the pest a fall arm worm while others are calling it chilo worm.
