Zifa set to unveil a new corporate sponsor for Warriors’ AFCON campaign

The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) is set to unveil a new corporate sponsor for the Warriors’ Nations Cup campaign in Gabon next month.

The sponsor, who will bankroll the Warriors’ 2017 Nations Cup campaign and will also be the corporate partner for the association, will be unveiled this week. Said Philip Chiyangwa:

We have secured a corporate sponsor and this is a landmark development in the history of ZIFA and our football in general and things will never be the same again for us. The deal will cover our Warriors campaign in Gabon next month and the boys will be fully catered for during their campaign and we hope this will be a major boost for the boys when they fly our national flag at Afcon. It will also give us a major sponsor, as an association, for our activities next year and we are happy that we have moved in the right direction and our football will get a major face-lift.

Chiyangwa also said his victory in the race for the COSAFA presidency will also boost downstream industries in the country like tourism.
