Miriam Chikukwa, the Minister of Provincial Affairs for Harare Province has urged businesses to construct hotels in Mount Hampden. She said this as she was touring the site for the new capital city. Chikukwa said the hotels, would the ease the travelling for legislators when parliament is in session.
Chikukwa said:
I am happy with the developments here. It is a good project. I am happy with the way the road infrastructure is being put up to suit the standards of the new city.
We call upon other businesses to complement the efforts by the developer and set up hotels so that MPs will not have to travel to the current capital Harare.
