Former Castle Premier Soccer League champions Dynamos have been ranked the best clu8b in the Southern African region by Football Database, a website which ranks world football. The Glamour Boys were ranked 12th in Africa and 253 in the world. Southafr5ican giants Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns were ranked 13th and 14th respectively in Africa, meaning that they are 2nd and 3rd in Southern Africa. FC Platinum was the second best-ranked team in Zimbabwe.
Football Database uses a special rating system which takes into account past achievements as well as present form. This might explain why Dynamos have been rated highly even though their last two seasons were not spectacular by any means.
