Highlanders dismiss reports that their coach Erol Akbay is on strike

Highlanders have dismissed reports that head coach, Erol Akbay had engaged in a strike owing to unpaid sign on fees.
The Dutch coach missed his side’s two days of training and Highlanders Secretary General, Emmert Ndlovu said contrary to reports that he was on strike, Akbay was unwell. In his absence, players went through their paces under the care of assistant coaches, Amin Soma Phiri and Cosmas Tsano Zulu. However Akbay, said that there had been a financial misunderstanding with the club which he said has since been resolved but dismissed talk of the reported strike action.
