Reprieve for Kasukuwere as petition to expel him is yet to be tabled

Zanu PF Political Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere who is under fire from sections of Zanu PF and the media is still to know his fate. The Zanu PF Mashonaland Central executive recently endorsed a petition to expel him and his half brother Dickson Mafios from the party. However, the petition was not deliberated on at last night’s Politburo meeting. Zanu PF spokesperson, Simon Khaya Moyo revealed that the petition is yet to be tabled.

Said Khaya Moyo:

We shall hear about it once it (the case) arrives. I don’t know about it (the report), secretary for administration (Cde Ignatius Chombo) might have received it.

If he has it, it will be discussed at the appropriate time, I don’t know whether it is today or some time. Matters are discussed here first. We don’t take action and then discuss.

The Politburo meeting accepted the resignation letters of Eunice Sandi-Moyo and Sarah Mahoka from the Women’s League.
