Outrage as Bulawayo City Council gets $6, while contractor gets $54 for every towed vehicle

Motorists in Bulawayo have expressed outrage at Bulawayo City Council’s exorbitant towing charges of $60 per vehicle. There has been an outcry at the distribution of the towing fees with the BCC getting only $6 and the contractor getting the lion’s share of $54 for every vehicle. The BCC charges a flat $60 per vehicle regardless of location. The skewed deal has raised speculation that someone in the council might be behind the towing contracting company.
