Evicted disabled people to receive $800 each as start-up capital
Public Service, Labour, nd Social Welfare Minister Prisca Mupfumira has revealed that the government will assist the disabled people who were evicted from the Leonard Cheshire Home. Each of them is set to rceive $800 as startup capital. They were evicted from the Home in the avenues after losing a legal battle whicch dragged on for almost 18 years.

The Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare has been closely monitoring and following the protracted squabbles that led to the eviction of persons with disabilities from the Leonard Cheshire Homes in Harare,

Alternative temporary accommodation has been identified at the Ruwa Rehabilitation Centre, but the offer has been rejected by the affected persons.
