Lifeline for Kasukuwere as meeting to kick him out of Zanu PF is postponed
Zanu PF Mashonaland Central Province postponed a meeting to deal with the fate of national political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere to Wendesday. The province had vowed to throw out Kasukuwere from the party at the meeting. The meeting had to postponed after some members could not attende the meeting due to other commitments. Kasukuwere’s political career hangs in the balance after all 10 Zanu PF provinces endorsed a petition to have him removed from his position as national political commissar.
Minister of State for Mashonaland Central Provincial Affairs Advocate Martin Dinha said:
We received advice from the secretary for Administration (Cde Chombo) that we will reconvene on Wednesday. Some of the Politburo members who were supposed to attend were committed elsewhere. As the head of the province, I want the Kasukuwere-Mafios issue to be dealt with expeditiously.
