Zanu-PF secretary for administration Ignatius Chombo has been removed from the delegation that will be going to Mashonaland Central today. The delegation is set to deliberate and resolve a petition by the province to kick out National Political Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere and his brother Dickson Mafios. The meeting is strictly going to be attended by provincial members and those who constitute the Provincial Coordinating Committee. Kasukuwere and Mafios are being accused of setting up parallel structures to topple President Mugabe.
The four-member team which will be going to Mashonaland Central comprises of
- Jacob Mudenda, who is a Politburo member and Speaker of the National Assembly.
- Simon Khaya Moyo who is the Zanu-PF secretary for information and publicity
- Tsitsi Muzenda who is a Committee member in the Politburo and one Cde Kazizi.
- Dickson Dzora Zanu-PF the director of administration will be the minute taker at the meeting.
