Dumiso Dabengwa’s Zapu was evicted from its Bulawayo offices after accumulating $11 000 in rentals.
Zapu deputy spokesperson Iphithule Maphosa confirmed the development to Daily News and said that it had become difficult for them to raise $1 000 for rent hence they did not contest the eviction. He also accused State security agents of interfering in Zapu’s search for new offices and said that one of their would be landlords was intimidated into withdrawing the offer.
