Govt avails $800 business grant for people with disabilities evicted from Masterton Cheshire home

Addressing journalists and the evicted residents, Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister Prisca Mupfumira urged the group of people with disabilities who were evicted from a flat run by the Leonard Cheshire Disability Zimbabwe Trust in the Avenues area in Harare should move to alternative accommodation at Ruwa National Rehabilitation Centre.
Mupfumira also said her ministry is ready to assist the former residents of Masterton Cheshire home with integration into communities, and a startup capital grant of $800 has been availed to the evicted residents for income generating projects.
