Professor Francis Gudyanga has been reassigned to be the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education. He was previously the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Mines and Mining Development where he faced allegations of running down the Ministry as well as abuse of the country’s diamond revenues.
The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Mines led by Masvingo Urban legislator Daniel Shumba early this month recommended that the Civil Service Commission should fire Gudyanga for his alleged abuse of the country’s diamond revenue. Part of the report reads
