At a meeting held at Convention Centre in Gweru, Zanu-PF Midlands Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) resolved to appoint Goodwill Shiri as deputy chairperson of the province. Shiri replaces Kizito Chivamba who died in April this year.
The PCC meeting was attended by Midlands Minister of State Jason Machaya, Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Engineer Tapiwa Matangaidze and other senior Zanu-PF members.
