EcoCash to go down for scheduled maintenance, do all transactions before Saturday at 10 pm

Econet Wireless has advised that its mobile money transfer platform, EcoCash, will be down from 10 pm today (Saturday)  to 2pm on Sunday. This is for the company to carry out scheduled maintenance.

Group chief executive officer Douglas Mboweni said:

This is scheduled work we are carrying out on the EcoCash platform. Apart from the EcoCash system, we routinely carry out maintenance and upgrade work on our various network platforms to ensure optimal, robust performance and to guarantee career-grade stability on our platforms.
