Grace Mugabe confronts Mnangagwa over poisoning issue
Sources told The Zimbabwe Independent that first lady Grace Mugabe confronted Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa during a Zanu-PF politburo meeting on Wednesday and queried why he had not cleared the poisoning issue before Thursday last week.
According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity, Grace wanted to know why Mnangagwa had not responded earlier to allegations by his allies on social media that he had been poisoned using ice cream from Gushungo Dairy. The anonymous source said:
Grace confronted Mnangagwa over the poison issue, she demanded to know why the vice president had kept quiet for a long time when social media activists and his supporters suggested he was poisoned purportedly by the First Family or his colleagues (Defence Minister Sydney Sekeramayi and Health Minister David Parirenyatwa). She also said Mnangagwa failed to reign in his allies and has also not come out clean up to this day in public on whether he was poisoned or not.
