Zimbabwe’s Higher Education Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has come out in defence of President Robert Mugabe. This was after African National Congress (ANC) Secretary General Gwede Mantashe responded to Mugabe’s remark that he had ‘stupidly reacted’ to his comments that his party had not liberated the blacks from economic oppression.
In Mugabe’s defence, Prof Moyo tweeted:

On Thursday, Mugabe said Mantashe was stupid and Moyo said this was not an insult implying that Mantashe is indeed stupid. Moyo wrote:
