Mamelodi Sundowns finally pays Khama Billiat's R1 million signing-on fee

Mamelodi Sundowns finally paid Khama Billiat’s R1 million signing-on fee after an intervention by the South African Football Players Union. According to Sunday News, Sundowns had decided not to pay Billiat his signing-on fee because they believed he would have left the club.

Sources also told the newspaper that Billiat and he club were still negotiating. The sources also said that Sundowns had tabled a deal of R200 000 gross which will shoot his net pay to R135 000, but his representatives want a deal that will give him a net salary of R200 000.
