Political and women rights activist Linda Masarira has announced that she will contest for the Harare Central parliamentary seat which is currently being occupied by MDC-T’s Zwizwai Murisi as an independent candidate in next year’s elections.
In June this year, Masarira announce via her Twitter account that she would contest for the seat as a member of Tendai Biti’s People’s Democratic Party (PDP). However because of the MDC Alliance she would not be able to contest for the seat due to seat allocation.
