Mnangagwa accused of sponsoring Al-Shabaab which attacked opponents with machetes
Former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been accused of sponsoring a Kwekwe based terror group al-Shabaab that attacked his perceived opponents in Midlands province with machetes.
Kwekwe legislator Masango Matambanadzo told a Midlands provincial coordinating meeting and called for the group to be disarmed. Said Matambanadzo:
This group should be disarmed now that the person who has been giving them immunity has been fired. They have been going around Kwekwe killing and assaulting people perceived to be enemies of the former VP.
FeedbackProvincial commissar and Minister of Sport, Arts, Recreation and Culture, Makhosini Hlongwane and Midlands Provincial Affairs Minister, Jason Machaya all called for the terror group to be disarmed.
