Vice President Kembo Mohadi is the Acting President following President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s official visit to Luanda, Angola.
Mnangagwa left Harare on Friday morning and is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Retired Lieutenant General Sibusiso Moyo, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Power Development, Mr Partson Mbiriri and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement, Mr Ringson Chitsike.
He is expected to brief Angolan leader, Joao Lourenco who is the current chair of the SADC troika, on the situation prevailing in the country and events leading to his ascendancy to the presidency.
