City Of Harare Says Zupco, CAG And Mukumba Bros Will Offer Shuttle Service After Banning Kombis From CBD
The City of Harare (COH) has announced that Zupco, CAG Traveller and Mukumba Brother’s buses will be the ones that will be used to shuttle people from the new commuter omnibus (kombi) ranks into the central business district (CBD). This comes after the authorities banned the kombis from entering the CBD and announced that only shuttle buses will be allowed to enter the CBD.
In what seems to be an ill thought and poorly implemented move, the authorities did not explain how much the shuttle buses are going to charge or the times that they will be moving in and out of the CBD, considering that the move is starting tomorrow. They also did not mention how they chose the three bus companies.
The message from the City of Harare reads,
ZUPCO, CAG TRAVELLER AND MUKUMBA BROTHERS TO OFFER SHUTTLE SERVICE FROM TOMORROW (Thursday)
Here are the new kombi ranks.
