Speaking at a rally on Wednesday, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said that the government had fired the striking nurses who had to realise the country already has its owners. Mnangagwa was addressing Johane Masowe YeChishanu Vadzidzi VaJesu Church pilgrims from all across Africa. Earlier on today, the nurses withdrew their High Court challenge against Vice President Chiwenga, Minister of Health David Parirenyatwa and the Health Services Board (HSB)
