Mnangagwa Officially Renames Field Airbase To Jason Ziyapapa Moyo Air Force Base

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has officially renamed Field Airbase near Chegutu to Jason Ziyapapa Moyo Air Force Base. Mnangagwa who was accompanied by his two deputies Vice Presidents, Kembo Mohadi and General (retired) Constantino Chiwenga said that the renaming is part of the decolonization process meant to exorcise the demon of colonialism. He also said that the renaming was meant to give the Zimbabwean people names that mean something to them and reflect the honour the country has for fallen heroes.  Field Airbase was also known as Suri Suri Airbase.

Here is a full list of the renamed barracks, although some are yet to hold ceremonies for the official renaming.
