Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mike Bimha will lead a Zimbabwean delegation to the First Belt and Road Agrifood and Trade Summit (ATS) taking place in Hong Kong, China from from 27 to 29 June. The summit which is being held under the theme ‘Opportunities and Challenges to The Agriculture and Food Industry’ will feature more than 1500 including government officials, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, ambassadors, consul-generals, international investors.
Speaking to 263Chat, Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) Head of Sales and marketing, Cynthia Tapera said the summit is meant to discuss and exchange views on investment and development in the agriculture sector. Said Tapera:
“The focus of the summit is to discuss and exchange views regarding on issues to do with demand in investment and development in agriculture and food industry, the opportunity and challenge of cooperation brought bybusiness collaboration under the Initiative.
