Zimbabwe’s motocross sensation Tanya Muzinda has been nominated for an award at this years’ edition of the AfrICAN Children Of The Year Awards. The awards which will be held at the Profound Conference Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on the 3rd of November, are open to African children between the ages of 7 and 13. The AfrICAN Children of the Year Awards will recognise and honour the spirit of creativity and innovation, acknowledge the following categories; Arts and Culture, Education, Philanthropist, Leadership, Community Development/Engagement, Motivational/Personal Development, Technology, Sports, Safety and Security, Special Mention. There will also be a Great Achiever Award to a child who has made a significant contribution to AfrIcan Children’s Legacy. Children, Schools and Learning Institutions, Churches, Coaches, Parents, Caregivers, Guardians, Relatives, Friends, Well-Wishers and Businesses are urged to enter for one or more categories.
