NPF Spokesperson Claims Jonathan Moyo Wanted To Loot Money From Mugabes Using NPF, Denies That Grace Wanted To Be VP

National Patriotic Front (NPF) spokesperson Jealousy Mawarire has denied dismissed Jonathan Moyo’s claims that former first lady Grace Mugabe wanted to lead the NPF project. Mawarire who has in the past acted as former President Robert Mugabe’s liaison with media organisations said that the Mugabe’s had never wanted to be part of the NPF and instead accused Moyo of sour grapes after the Mugabe’s rebuffed his appeals for them to fund the party. Mawarire alleged that Moyo wanted to loot funds from the party instead. Said Mawarire,

Moyo had an intricate team within Zimbabwe through which he was going to get the money. They (Mugabes) could see that he wanted to use them and they flatly refused to fund or be members of NPF. He (Moyo) knows pretty well that at no point did Mai Mugabe want to be president of NPF. He is angry because he could not make money using them.

He had this lousy idea about an online publication, a gamut of trolls controlled by his acolytes in Zimbabwe for which he was brandishing about a $1 million budget that he wanted to loot.

…He is busy extorting money claiming he wants to help pay Chamisa’s legal fees when we all know that the MDC Alliance has a separate campaign for this purpose and the lawyers who represented them in the ConCourt challenge were working on a pro-bono basis… now they’re shamelessly latching on to that propaganda because they know ED and the Mugabes have found each other. They’re shameless divisionists who thrive on playing one Zimbabwean against another and hope they can get money out of it.
