Sunday Mail Journalist "Attacked" By Jah Prayzah "Fans" Following Negative Review Of Chitubu

Sunday Mail Senior Reporter Prince Mushawevato filed a police report following death threats, social media attacks and acts of aggression by angry Jah Prayzah supporters.

Mushawevato offered what Jah Prayzah described as a negative review of his Chitubu album on social media. Mushawevato said he was attacked twice by Jah Prayzah’s fans. The first attack was at Braeside Shopping Centre where he says he was almost hit by a blue Toyota Runx. He said in the second attack he was rescued by a bouncer after Jah Prayzah’s fans tried to assault him. Narrating the first incident Mushawevato said:

I was almost hit by a blue Toyota Runx. At first I thought it was innocent but what they said afterwards had me terrified. To quote one of the guys verbatim, he said ‘eh wangu, I hope wakanyora will because toda kukusota size inokwana chaiyo. Ungatuke Jah iwe?’ (I hope you have a last will because we are going to deal with you. Who are to insult Jah?)

Mushawevato said contrary to Jah Prayzah’s claim, 90 percent of stories The Sunday Mail has written on the musician have been to uplift and celebrate his career.
