[Watch Video] Harare City Mayor Speaks On Water Treatment Chemicals

Harare City mayor Herbert Gomba said that the erratic water supply being experienced in the city is a result of a shortage of two key water treatment chemicals, that is sulphuric acid and aluminium sulphate.
He said that efforts are being made to acquire the chemicals. He, however, said that the major challenge is to source the foreign currency to import the chemicals from China and South Africa.
The other challenge militating against water delivery is the water cuts experienced at Morton Jeffrey, the City’s water treatment plant. Watch the Press Conference below:
