<p>Road Traffic Accidents on Christmas Day this year were 33% higher than those recorded last year. Police records show that 122 accidents happened on the day, compared to 89 in 2017.</p>
<p>12 people died in the accidents this year and 63 people were injured.</p>
<p>2018 has been a bloody year, with many accidents recorded, especially the second half of the year when bus accidents claimed scores of people.</p>
