Caesar Zvayi, a senoir journalist at the Herald took to Twitter today to discuss the common question of whether Christians should celebrate Velentine’s Day.
Zvayi asked: “is it possible to be a Christian and celebrate St Valentines Day whose origins are reported to be rooted in Paganism & idolatry”
Zimbabwe Twitter responded:

The term Christian itself originated from pagans as a mockery to people who followed Jesus. Jesus Himself never used the term but disciples instead. You decide. But a question can be asked: If something is good, what is wrong doing it?
