ZLHR Request Post-morten Report Over Kelvin Tinashe Choto Death

The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) have demanded a post-mortem report over the shooting and killing of a young Chitungwiza resident on January 14, 2019.

Kelvin Tinashe Choto was allegedly shot and killed by a police officer while hiding in a mango tree on the day fuel protests started. A statement issued by ZLHR reads as follows:

In defence of the Choto family’s right to administrative justice and right to access information and the truth pertaining to the death of their son Kelvin Tinashe Choto, who was killed by a ZRP officer during January protests ZLHR Lawyers has intervened to request a post-mortem report.
