Mamombe Arrested By Soldiers - Lawyer Claims

The trial of Joanna Mamombe at the magistrate’s Court on Monday opened a can of worms as it revealed that the arresting officer was not a policeman after all.

The witness and arresting officer, Dennis Muroyiwa, failed to name his immediate bosses at the department he works for at the police’s Law and Order section when asked by Mamombe’s lawyer Obey Shava.

Muroyiwa produced his identity document which did not have a picture of his face which he claimed was wiped off by sweat.
