MDC A youth assembly chairman Happymore Chidziva on Tuesday blamed Government for the low pass rate in the ZIMSEC ordinary and advanced level results in Matabeleland province.
Addressing journalists, Chidziva accused Government of not prioritizing education and said the Ministry of Education is not providing adequate resources to Matabeleland region. Said Chidziva:
We note with grave concern low pass rate last year especially in Matabeleland regions. The government is not taking the education system seriously and is practicing genocidal and apartheid against Matebeleland region
