ZIFA president Felton Kamambo has announced that all the gate takings from the forthcoming Warriors match will be channelled towards Cyclone Idai victims.
The Warriors are set to play Congo Brazzaville on Sunday for their decisive 2019 Afcon qualifier. Zimbabwe needs only a point to guarantee qualification for the continent’s soccer showpiece. In the first leg played in Brazzaville, Congo between the two sides, the match ended 1-1 after the Warriors squandered a number of inviting chances to score a winner.

Physical tickets are sold at selected outlets across the country. Fans intending to watch the Warriors’ tie have to dig deep into their pockets for as much as $200 for the VVIP ticket. The VVIP ticket rose four-fold from the previous price of $50 when Zimbabwe hosted DRC in the last home match in October last year. Entrance fees to the bays 15-18 also rose from $10 to $50, while the cheapest ticket for the rest of the ground will be $10.
