The Rwanda senior ladies national cricket team has started preparations ahead of the World Cup qualifiers tournament to be held in Zimbabwe from May 3 – 13.
The Rwanda team captain Sarah Uwera said:
The training is going well. We are working hard to be ready for some really strong teams come May in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe was awarded is hosting the Africa regional qualifying tournament for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020. Nine teams – Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Uganda – will participate in the Africa Qualifier tournament.
