A zimbabwean hip hop musician, manager and socialite, Kuda Musasiwa also known as the Begotten Sun, has has claimed that Africa is being exploited by foreign film makers. He argued that out of the millions the films taken in Africa make, only insignificant amounts of money are given back to Africa. Below is a twitter thread in which he expresses his frustration:

Imagine a Zim crew flying to England. And going around Eping forest and Scotland and filming hundreds of hours of footage of British animals to make billions in Africa. Would the British just allow that. I wonder….
