South Africa’s Vice President, David Mabuza bumped into the commander-in-chief of opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema at an Easter Sunday church service.
The duo was pictured having a ‘light moment’. Malema is a former president of the ruling ANC youth wing but was fired from the party by the then President Jacob Zuma after the two quarrelled over policy issues.
A message posted on Twitter by the office of the President of South Africa reads:
Deputy President David Mabuza sharing a light moment with the leader of the Economic Freedom Fighter, Mr Julius Malema during the Easter Sunday Church Service at the St Engenas Zion Christian Church (ZCC) in Zion City, Moria, ahead of delivering his message to the service.
