The Youth Told To Move From Inadequacy Mentality & Aim Higher
Affirmative Action Group president Mr. Chamu Chiwanza has said the youth must avoid relying too much on the government.
Chiwanza was addressing youths and Chinhoyi University of Technology students last week at an event organised by former Junior Minister of State for Mashonaland West Denzel Kawanzaruwa.
Chiwanza added that the youth must always aim to go beyond their current challenges. He said:
Our youths are the future. Use what you have to your best and pursue dreams without fear as young entrepreneurs. Mediocrity has become our new standard of excellence. There is nothing you can do to change the current situation but you have to move from inadequacy mentality and aim higher.
Speaking at the same event, Kawanzaruwa said that the youth should live a life with a purpose. He also said that the event was apolitical and was motivated by business people who started their businesses from nothing. He said:
We are urging all youths in Zimbabwe and the province in particular to live life with a purpose and take it to another level while avoiding on relying too much on Government.
