Liverpool has stunned Barcelona 4-0 in the Uefa semi-finals to proceed to the finals with either Tottenham Hotspur or Ajax Amsterdam. The result came as a shocker following their 3-0 loss to FC Barca in the first leg at Camp Nou.
Liverpool got goals from Divock Origi, a man who has not been getting game, who was selected following some injuries in Liverpool’s camp. The Belgian found the back of the net twice whilst Georginio Wijnaldum who was frustrated for coming in as a substitute also scored twice in two minutes, to make it possible.
Liverpool was without one of their main man, Mohammed Salah who was injured in an English Premiership League game. In the pictures below, Origi (left) and Wijnaldum (right) celebrating their goals.
Barcelona had no excuse for the loss considering that almost every player was fresh after they were rested in the match they lost to Celta Vigo.
