Henry Olonga Mocks The Standards Of Zimbabwean Cricket

Former Zimbabwe cricketer, Henry Olonga has claimed that a substandard player can still make it into the Zimbabwe national cricket team. He was speaking at an Australian audition The Voice Australia, a singing competition.

Olonga played alongside captain Andy Flower in the 2000s. He retired from international cricket after receiving death threats for protesting against the then president Robert Mugabe in 2003. Olonga and Flower wore black armbands in their opening match of the 2003 World Cup against Namibia to protest against the then President Robert Mugabe and “mourn the death of democracy in Zimbabwe”.
