Service stations across the country have maintained the current fuel prices gazetted by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA).

The reports of a fuel price hike inevitably were used by transport operators to hike fares to as much as $5 per trip, from $2.
There were long, winding queues at the few services stations that were selling the precious liquid.
