Zimbabwe has won 5-4 on penalties against Lesotho to clinch the COSAFA third-place play-off. The COSAFA third-place play-off had proceeded to the penalty shootout after the match had ended Lesotho 2 v2 Zimbabwe on the official time. The Warriors of Zimbabwe were leading 2:1 until the Crocodiles equalised in the 67th minute.
Goals for Zimbabwe came from Tafadzwa Rusike in13th minute and Leeroy Mavunga in the 62nd minute. The Warriors scored first both the first and second goal in the 13th and 62nd minute and the Crocs equalised in the 33rd-minute 67th minute respectively.
