Zimbabwe national Netball team, Gems, got a warm welcome as they arrived at Manchester Airport. Zimbabweans in the diaspora received them with songs and dances. They sang in Shona saying “Mauya, mauyawo bhora ratanga”. Loosely translated, it means, “You have come, you have come, now the games begin”. The Zimbabwe Gems will be taking part in the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 to be held in Liverpool.
