Ngezi Platinum Stars on Saturday beat Black Rhinos 2-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Baobab Stadium.
Both goals were scored in the second half by Bruno Mtigo and Donald Teguru bringing to an end the army side’s eight-match unbeaten run.
Speaking to the media after the match, Ngezi coach Erol Akbay said that he was happy with the result. He also revealed that the club is hunting for players to boost the strikeforce.
I am happy with the result today although I feel we could have won the match with a bigger margin had we converted the chances that came our way.
… We are still searching and mid-season is difficult to get players because of the contracts they have with their respective clubs.
