The Warriors have walloped Mauritius 4-0 in the first leg of the second round encounter of 2020 CHAN Qualifiers.
The match was initially scheduled for Sunday, 28 July 2019 but it was delayed until Monday [today] due to a waterlogged pitch at New George V Stadium in Curepipe.
Mauritius fielded an Under-20 side in the match as their senior team was in action over the weekend at the Indian Ocean Island Games, Soccer24 reports.
Leeroy Mavunga and Never Tigere both scored a brace against a youthful Mauritian side.
The two nations square off again now in the second leg set for next weekend at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo. The winner will then face either South Africa or Lesotho.
South Africa lost 3-2 away to Lesotho in the first leg on Sunday after fielding mostly players from the Under-23 side.
