'No Special Treatment Of Ministers In Prison'
Zimbabwe’s Prisons Commissioner General, Paradzai Zimondi has said that Government Ministers who are jailed do not get special treatment in the country’s prisons. He said everyone eats the same food and uses the same blankets. He also said that politicians who are jailed actually become good ambassadors of the needs of prisoners since they get to experience it first hand.
Recently the former minister of Tourism and Hospitality, Prisca Mupfumira was arrested and is currently in remand prison awaiting her corruption trial.
